NFL Network reporter Mike Reiss reports the New England Revolution signed Jerick McMillan to a contract for the 2018 season.

McMillan is listed as the #11 on the Patriots’ depth chart.

The signing comes as New England has struggled to find a running back in the 2017 draft.

The team traded for Jerick Weeks in the offseason.

Mcmillan spent the last four seasons with the Carolina Panthers.

He rushed for 1,921 yards with 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in three seasons.

McMillan will likely receive a signing bonus of $500,000.

McKinnon also had interest from the Seattle Sounders, but the Sounders declined to sign him.

McGregor’s signing comes one day after the Houston Dynamo signed Jamaican international Marcelo Sarvas to a two-year contract extension.
